Adrian is proficient in a variety of manual therapies in addition to acupuncture, including Visceral Manipulation, CranioSacral Therapy and deep tissue bodywork. His diverse and comprehensive training informs focused treatments that dismantle tension patterns and increase physical efficiency. His experience with traumatic injury, inflammation, and internal diseases enables him to maximize functionality while encouraging patients to be active in their recovery.   • Awarded BEST OF in San Diego for acupuncture centers in 2002-2003.
  • Conducted weekend training intensives for MD's using EAV technology. Adrian worked to customize the curriculum with comprehensive treatment protocols. Also studied advanced dental protocols including amalgam removal and cavitation (3 years).
  • Co-designed an exceptional Electro-Acupuncture stimulator.
  • Lead workshops on managing chronic pain using breathing techniques and meditation.

Rick brings a deep sense of compassion and understanding to his patients and their symptoms. He enjoys treating a variety of internal and external disorders. His main focus is in the treatment of menstrual disorders, addiction, digestive complaints, and various musculoskeletal disorders. Rick integrates his extensive study in TCM with orthopedic physical assessment techniques to effectively treat various acute and chronic muscular pain. He also integrates various types of myofascial release and facilitated muscle stretching techniques into his treatments. He is passionate about herbal medicine and prescribes specialized formulas to address specific patterns in order to treat and prevent illness. Rick educates his patients on various exercises that promote proper body dynamics and also provides nutritional advice to patients to speed in the recovery process and increase vitality. Rick is a graduate of The Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego.

Ted Kardash Ph.D., MFT Psychology/Teacher/Taoist Priest (619) 543-9904
Dr. Ted Kardash received his doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the University for Humanistic Studies. He is licensed as a Marriage Family Therapist and has maintained a private practice in San Diego since 1989. As an ordained Taoist priest, Ted regularly performs wedding ceremonies, initiation rites for new borns and their parents, as well as memorial services. He is a long time practitioner and teacher of the Chinese health movement exercises Tai Chi Chuan and Qi Gong. Ted is also a faculty member at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine where he supervises the Clinical Counseling program and teaches classes in Tai Chi Chuan and the I Ching. He brings a blend of East and West to both his own clinical practice as well as to his teaching.

Carla has been practicing massage therapy and body wrap techniques since 2003. She combines therapeutic massage, deep tissue, sports massage and the use of hot stones to provide a unique relaxation experience.
